Walking with the Mystical Poets
Rahima Ritenbaugh will support us in using mystical poetry as a Sufi practice to inspire, open and deepen our hearts to more fully experience Divine Love.
The mystical poets have encountered all the states of the heart and soul that we touch in our walking to God, and they share those states through images and metaphors that can touch the deepest layers of our hearts. Encountering their writings in a prayerful state gives us joy, support, courage, and wonder. They remind us of the direction we are heading and that even the straight path has twists and turns.
Join us to ponder and taste with these amazing spiritual masters.
Dr. Cheryl Rahima Ritenbaugh is the teacher. Rahima completed the Jaffe Institute 3 year program in 2004 and received her Masters in Spiritual and Medical Healing from the University of Spiritual Healing and Sufism in 2008. She has served on the Board of Directors of the University of Spiritual Healing and Sufism as well as the Shafiyy Institute. In 2018 she joined the Minnesota community.
Event Details
When: 3:30-5:00pm on the 2nd Sunday of the month and is followed by a healing circle at 5pm.
Where: Online via Zoom
Cost: FREE, heart-centered donations appreciated
